Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a reminder?

From the home screen, tap one of the quick action cards (Medication, Appointment, or Other) below the calendar. Fill in the details and tap Save.

How do I change the app language?

Go to Settings (tap the profile icon on the home screen) and select Language. DayAnchor supports English, French, and Spanish.

Is my data backed up?

DayAnchor stores all data locally on your device for maximum privacy. This means your data is not backed up to a cloud service. If you uninstall the app or switch devices, your data will not transfer automatically. We recommend using your device's built-in backup feature (iCloud or Google Backup) to preserve your data.

How do I delete all my data?

Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom. Tap "Delete All My Data" and confirm. This permanently removes all reminders, wellness entries, and contacts from your device.

Why does the app need notification permissions?

Notifications are how DayAnchor reminds you about your scheduled activities. Without notification permission, reminders will only appear when the app is open. All notifications are scheduled locally on your device — nothing is sent to external servers.
