Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy describes how DayAnchor handles consumer health data as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373) and similar state laws. This policy supplements our main Privacy Policy.
Consumer Health Data We Process
- Medication reminder names and schedules — Entered by you and stored on your device only.
- Wellness check-in responses — Mood, sleep quality, and energy level — stored on your device only.
- Medication search queries — When you search for a medication name, your search terms are sent to the NIH RxNorm API (rxnav.nlm.nih.gov) for name lookup. No account or identity is attached to these searches.
How We Use This Data
- To provide you with daily routine reminders and wellness check-ins.
- To compose caregiver notification messages at your direction.
Third Parties
- RxNorm API (NIH) — For medication name search. A free, public U.S. government service. No identity attached to queries.
- Sentry — For anonymous crash reports. No health data is included in crash reports.
- No other third parties receive your health data.
Your Rights
- Access: All your data is visible to you in the app at all times.
- Delete: Go to Settings > Delete All My Data to permanently remove all health data from your device.
- Withdraw consent: Disable caregiver notifications at any time on a per-contact basis.
Data Retention
Data is stored on your device until you delete it. We do not retain any copy on our servers because we do not have servers that store your data.
Geofencing
DayAnchor does not use location services and does not geofence any health care facilities.
